Student Marketing Assistant

During my nearly two years working as a Marketing Assistant, I served in two distinct positions. Firstly, from December 2020 - December 2021, I served solely the Ball State Department of Theatre and Dance, creating content and publishing media for all of their social media pages (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and website. This focuses on a mix of faculty spotlights, alumni on stage, promoting ongoing student productions, publicizing our program to prospective students, and more. However, the College of Fine Arts then moved my supervisor and I to the College of Fine Arts team, where I then took on these responsibilities for the College of Fine Arts and each of its four internal departments, the School of Music, School of Art, Department of Theatre and Dance, and the David Owlsley Museum of Art. While serving in both of these units, I also had the amazing opportunity to promote the filmed version of the staged musical Anything Goes, starring Ball State faculty and Broadway star Sutton Foster. I was able to work with Ms. Foster's team and publicists, as well as the media and publicists for the filmed movie of Anything Goes to create content and develop a campaign for the theatrical premiere of the musical. The following photos are just a few examples of the content produced throughout my time as the Marketing Assistant.
